Our trip was eventful! We started the race at the back of the pack which is not good if you're one of the smallest boats! The three night passage started out & ended beautifully, in between we had 15-20 ft seas and 30 knot winds, but we got to Bahia de Tortuga before a lot of bigger boats. We all had fun on the beach, lots of kids to meet & a day of rest. The next leg we started mid pack & had light winds during the day but great 10-15 knot breeze at night and small following seas! Bahia Santa Maria is a tiny fishing village, 6 cottages, but we had a great party, dinner and a band that came all the way from La Paz in the back of a pick up truck! Then on to Cabo. BUSY WOW! a parasailer tried to land on the mast, jetskiiers are like "no-see-ums" and panga boats are everywhere! But we made it and after two days of standing in immigration/customs lines we are officially in Mexico.
