Tenacatita Bay

During our stay in " Ten Bay" we experienced a tsunami warning based on the 8.8 earthquake in Chile.  All the boats in the bay went for an unplanned regatta as we all headed out to sea.  Everything was fine for us, unfortunately, not so for those in Chile. While here we enjoyed a nearly deserted beach and had a blast playing with all the "kid boats". We counted 12 in the anchorage at one time.  Little Zada on one of the boats lucked out as she turned 5 here and had quite a kid party, cupcakes and all.  We also had a couple of trips up the river in our dinghy. Much like the San Blas jungle trip but with a beautiful beach town on the other end.  Many trips here for provisions, snorkeling and to watch the Canadian Team beat the US in overtime (we got back down the river just at sunset, not a place to be in the dark!).  Great fun and all of "The Games" that we got to enjoy!
